Mint Property Finance adds additional skills to growing team

The first of the new hires, Sophie Menzies, joins Mint as Sales Support, having previously worked at Direct Mortgages, Clayton Hulme Partnership and Together. Sophie’s role will involve uploading all enquiries onto the business’s best-in-class software, ensuring the complete and accurate completion of application packs, and the issuing of terms in conjunction with Mint’s Business Development Managers. It is the first time Mint have appointed this additional resource to the Sales team and it is doing so to further streamline the process for Brokers and Direct Borrowers alike.

Sophie commented: “The new challenge of aiding and assisting our various Business Development Managers in their pursuit of delivering unbeatable pricing and service really motivates me. Brokers and Direct Borrowers each have their nuanced requirements and I look forward to also working alongside our Underwriting teams to learn even more about how we can save applicants time and money.”

Also joining Mint in the new role of Portfolio Management Support, is Helena Carr. She joins from Bibliotheca where she most recently held the role of Customer Relationship Manager, prior to which she worked at Lowry Capital and McCann Manchester.

Helena commented: “The Portfolio Management team here at Mint is pivotal to the business’s ongoing success. The expertise within the team is second-to-none and the ongoing support offered to Borrowers throughout the full period of their loan is a crucial means by which to keep projects on time, on budget and on quality. I’m hopeful my expert support will deliver even greater capacity within the team for each of our Portfolio Managers to help even more Borrowers in the future.”

The final addition to Mint’s growing team is Kate Gregory who joins the Underwriting team from Preston-based Autarky Capital where she was a Bridging & Development Underwriter. Prior to this, Kate was a Bridging Underwriter for Ascot Bridging.

Kate commented: “My five years of relevant sector experience will quickly make a positive impact on the team and the business. The challenging market conditions of the last few months have already thwarted many Lenders both locally and nationally, and I look forward to helping Mint and it’s valued Borrowers navigate their way through the lending process.”
