Two new high-specification HMOs in Bury

Mint Property Finance recently had the pleasure of providing funding to a pair of established property developers.

Funds were used to purchase a former hotel that was being converted into two HMO’s prior to each being refinanced onto traditional mortgage products.

Originally a pair of semi-detached houses which had subsequently been converted to provide 14-bed hotel accommodation across four floors, the developers were keen to capitalise on the recent uplift in local rental levels within the HMO sector by purchasing and refurbishing the property accordingly.

With an increasing number of renters keen to make a single monthly payment to cover all living expenses, and the area of Bury in need of high-specification HMOs, we were more than happy to progress the application through to completion.

And given the Borrower’s previous property experience, we’re pleased to report that they absolutely delivered on their objective of creating superior quality, comfortable and individual housing for local renters.
